1. About leCaribLink

leCaribLink is an online business directory and community platform connecting Caribbean businesses, events, jobs, and services with local communities. We provide tools to list, discover, and promote businesses and services across the Caribbean.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to submit any content on behalf of a business or organisation.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Listings and Content

When you submit a listing, review, message, or any other content ("User Content"), you agree that:

• All information is accurate, truthful, and up to date.
• You own or have the rights to any content you upload, including images.
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• You grant leCaribLink a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your content on the platform.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or fraudulent.
• Is defamatory, hateful, harassing, or discriminatory.
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
• Contains spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial communications.
• Violates any applicable local, national, or international law.
• Impersonates another person, business, or organisation.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules without notice.

6. Business Verification

A "Verified" badge indicates that a business owner has completed our verification process. Verification is not an endorsement of quality or a guarantee of any business's products or services. leCaribLink is not liable for transactions or interactions with listed businesses.

7. Fees and Paid Plans

Certain features are available only on paid plans. All fees are displayed before purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The leCaribLink name, logo, design, and platform code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, leCaribLink and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any listing or content.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your access at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sint Maarten / Saint Martin and applicable Caribbean regional law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sint Maarten, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
